The 2017 National Bike Challenge requires a free Strava account to log trips, for logging trips manually or using automatic logging through GPS tracking. To improve the trip logging features for the Challenge, the new platform is making sure the process and platforms work well, which requires streamlining the logging feature into one platform. Strava does provide a manual entry feature.
- Manual logging on a computer: On Strava dashboard, hover your mouse over the “+” icon in the upper right hand corner and select, “add manual entry.”
- Manual logging on the Strava app: On your activity feed, select “+” in the upper left corner of the app.
- Automatic logging: Using the Strava app on your smartphone, hit “record” just before you begin your ride. Hit the circled dot to pause and unpause. Hit the race flag to save your trip by filling in trip information.
